Read the whole role before you decide to apply

RemoteArden writes each position out properly — what the work is, when it happens and what the day rate is. Then you decide whether to message us, not the other way round.

About RemoteArden

Written by a person who has read the listing

RemoteArden started because the job pages we were all sending friends to were unreadable — three lines of buzzwords, no pay, and a form at the end. We decided to do the opposite and write each role out the way you would explain it to someone across a kitchen table.

Everything here is confirmed with the employer before it goes up, and comes down again the moment it is filled. Toowoomba, Wollongong and Cairns are where most of our applicants are, but the work itself is done wherever your desk happens to be.

We are not the employer. We introduce you, and then the employer trains you, sets your hours and pays you. That is worth saying plainly, because plenty of pages like this never do.

If a role needs experience, it does not belong on this page. All four are written for someone doing this for the first time.

Four roles, written out in full

Each one carries the day rate the employer has confirmed in writing.

Support assistant working through customer messages01
AUD 140–340 / day

Customer Support Assistant

You answer everyday questions from customers over chat and email — where an order is, how a return works, what a product does. The employer gives you the wording; you keep it friendly and get back to people quickly.

Data Entry & Records

Order details, delivery notes and customer records go into the employer's system, and anything that looks wrong gets flagged rather than guessed at. Quiet work you can do in blocks, with no calls at all.

Team reviewing an online listing together03
AUD 150–340 / day

Online Listing Checker

You work down a list of product pages, correct prices and descriptions and upload the photos the employer sends over. There is a checklist for every step, so nothing depends on you guessing house style.

Booking & Schedule Support

Small Australian businesses need someone to confirm appointments, move them when a customer calls, and send the reminder the day before. If you have ever run a family calendar, you already know the job.

Colleagues working side by side at a desk

I had read the whole role before I messaged, so the first conversation was about when I could start rather than what the job even was. That is not how any of my other applications went.

Hannah B. · Toowoomba, QLD

“The listing work fits between school pick-ups. I had never done anything like it and nobody made me feel odd about that.”

Marcus L. · Wollongong, NSW

“Seeing the day rate written on the card is the only reason I replied. It saves everyone a week of talking past each other.”

Sienna K. · Cairns, QLD

FAQ

Pick a question

Do I need experience?

No. All four roles are written for people starting from scratch, and the employer trains you before your first shift. If a position needed prior experience we would not put it on this page.
